Day 1: Kotor
The starting point of SAIL BREAK Montenegro is Kotor! Since 1979, this city has been listed on UNESCO’s World Heritage List, and we gather at the historic port just in front of the walls of the city to check in and begin our unforgettable sailing vacation!
As always, the first night means “Long Table Family Dinner”! We leave our boats, enter the city walls, and enjoy a unique evening meal in the Old Town! You are our guest in the traditional long table concept, a classic of SAIL BREAK… After a short stroll in Kotor, we start having fun with the Welcome Party!
Day 2: KotorĀ > Tivat
On the second day of SAIL BREAK in Montenegro, we wake up in Kotor and start the day with a delightful breakfast in the Old Town ☺️
We explore the enchanting history of Kotor with a guided tour. Those who wish can climb with us to the St. John fortress with a few hundred steps, witnessing the unique view of the city from the top…
After the tour, we do our shopping and bid farewell to the marina with a cheerful “AHOY!”… Admiring the massive mountains surrounding the Bay of Kotor during a truly unique sailing journey, we create our first “party island” by connecting our boats and forming our raft! With a DJ performance, we host our After Sail Party and then dock at Porto Montenegro Marina in Tivat, the favorite of the Bay of Kotor, to spend the night.
Porto Montenegro is one of Europe’s most luxurious marinas, and after a lovely dinner here, we fully immerse ourselves in the nightlife of Tivat.
Day 3: Tivat > Herceg Novi
Waking up in Tivat in the morning, we enjoy our breakfast in the enchanting atmosphere of Porto Montenegro, followed by some time for shopping in this beautiful setting.
In the afternoon, we set sail towards the Montenegro Oyster Farm, the location of our now traditional Oyster Party. Once again, we form a “raft” with our boats and kick off our party. The rest is as you ca guess; plenty of oysters, plenty of champagne…
After the party, our destination is Herceg Novi, another historic city in Montenegro!
Herceg Novi is an Adriatic legend nestled on the slopes of the Orjen mountain. It’s a haven for health tourism with its healing waters and mud baths. We’ll spend a unique day here to rejuvenate ourselves and indulge in some fine wines.
Day 4: Herceg Novi > LuŔtica
We wake up to a sunny morning in Herceg Novi! ☀️ The historic train station on the coast has been transformed into a charming cafĆ©. No one can resist a breakfast here.
Once again, in the afternoon, we set sail, and our destination is the submarine protection tunnels from World War II. In the past, submarines used to enter here to evade the target of enemy aircraft. Now, we navigate our boats to this spot, take a short tour with smaller boats, and make sure not to miss out on some fun.
Next on our route is another luxury project in Montenegro, LuŔtica Bay! Upon entering the bay, we create our party island once again and kick off our After Sail Party! After the party, we dock at the marina, and delightful evening meals await us at the restaurants in front of our boats. LuŔtica is also famous for its night events! Various concept parties will be waiting for us here in the evening.
Day 5: LuÅ”ticaĀ > Budva
GĆ¼n 6: Budva > Portonovi
After waking up in Budva, we embark on a short Old Town tour within the city walls, have a delicious breakfast by the coast, and set sail in the afternoon!
Following a pleasant sailing journey in the Adriatic, our next destination is another luxury project in Montenegro, Portonovi! Portonovi stands out with its unique architecture and private spaces that welcomed us in the best way in 2023.
After docking, we take a refreshing swim break on its beach and get ready for the evening! Tonight is special because it’s the Blue & White Night, one of the most significant traditions of SAIL BREAK! To celebrate the maritime spirit, we dress in blue and white as usual and invite you to our most special dinner of the trip!
Day 7: Portonovi > Kotor
In the morning at Portonovi’s square, before a delicious breakfast, those who wish can start the day with yoga on the boats or by the shore ♂️ After a bit of shopping, we’ll head to the sea, and our destination is the enchanting Perast!
Describing Perast is difficult. When we approach with the boats, you won’t be able to get enough of the scenery. The bell tower of St. George Island and the Lady of the Rocks, built by human hands 600 years ago, will greet us. A fairytale-like beauty awaits us.
Starting with a bit of melancholy but plenty of unforgettable moments, we will conclude SAIL BREAK Montenegro in Kotor ☺️ As usual, we’ll pop our farewell champagnes with our captains and take souvenir photos! Until the next SAIL BREAK, see you!

How To Get Montenegro
Our event will commence in Kotor,Ā Montenegro. It is possible to find direct flights to Tivat or Podgorica airport from all over the world.
FOOD
At SAIL BREAK events, we welcome you to the Welcome Party on the first night, the traditional Long Table Family Dinner on the first evening, and of course, our final night tradition, the Bleu & Blanc Night dinner.
Additionally, we provide alcholic drinks on the boats every day as part of the concept, and we take care of the boat’s water needs.
For other food and beverage choices, we give our participants the freedom to choose. Participants make their selections based on their preferences and needs. The SAIL BREAK Concierge Team will be delighted to assist you in this regard. They will guide you accurately for both your boat shopping and the restaurants in the region.
Whether itās at the coastal restaurants or in the kitchen on your yacht
If you have registered for individual participation or cabin charter, we can consider two options for meals. Either the participants can prepare their own meals in the yachtās kitchen, or we can dine at coastal restaurants when we dock ashore. While group meals can be organized, each team is also free to make their own arrangements.
Depending on the number of days spent on the yacht and on land, we advise consulting with your captain to decide the ratio and plan your provisions accordinglyĀ 😉
In the case ofĀ private yacht charter, there is no shared budget. Each team can create their own system. We can provide a hostess/chef for the yacht, and they can prepare the meals.
